Luck of the Irish Cookies

Well, St. Patrick’s day is around the corner and to celebrate I baked some cookies. I grabbed an old cookie cook book and tried to make sugar cookies. I put together the dough wrapped it in saran wrap and refrigerated for an hour. Then I sliced them into circles. I cut out a little clover stencil and sprinkled the cookies before they went into the oven. It sounds simple but the stencil part was a little tricky. I had quite a few that where more sprinkle smears then clovers. I borrowed this idea from Martha Stewart’s website.
